In this film many things happened to that character. Some things you don't learn about till the very end of the film. One of the things that happens to Charlie is that he blacks out and beats up a bunch of guys to protect Patrick. This event got him his friends back and it shows that Charlie would do anything for his friends. Especially since those are his only friends. In this film you learn many things about people. People are very different in many ways, the people Charlie chilled with were especially different. They all had a "don't judge" attitude. Charlie was called a wall flower because he brought his friends in with his truthfulness. through the title the author i'm guessing was showing a representation of the good things about being Charlie. The main message in this film was that dont ever let anyone put you down and

Cartoon Version: In the Disney film the movie had a couple different settings. There was the Ocean of Tears, the Tea Table with the the three crazy friends, there was the Rabbit's House along with many others. Overall this all happens in Wonderland. When it comes to "when" its not to clear but it looks like most of the time it is day time. Every setting showed great impact on Alice and the problems she was facing. Like in the Rabbit's House she grew very big, so big that the House was now her outfit. At the courtyard where Alice and the queen played a game had a big affect, because that is the final place she sees before she is put to trial.

Real Life Version: This version had a couple setting but not as much as the cartoon version. There was London where Alice was from, the Queen of Heart's castle, the tea table, the White Queens castle and the final battle field. These settings all had different affects on Alice. In the beginning she realized that she was just "in a dream". Throughout the film she learns that she must help everyone defeat the Queen of Hearts and her evil monster.

Comparing: Some of the settings where the same. Some weren't in the real version. The difference in film was most likely because the real version had more of a problem to be solved. The settings are steps to fix the problem at the end. In the cartoon version it was more like just different settings to introduce certain people into the story. I personally like the real version film better because it actually made sense. The cartoon version was too random and too trippy.

Basic Analysis: The story takes place in many different locations. It first started out in Greenbow, Alabama in Forest's home town. Then it went to along with Forest to the University of Alabama, where he played football for the Crimson Tide. After that Forest joined the military and was sent to Vietnam. From there on he visited many places and got invited to many others. Not to mention the places he went for Jenny. These happened at any time of the day, during many historical events such as when Forest was at the Watergate Hotel when the Watergate had its scandal, and during the 1944 till 1982. All these settings had special meaning to the life of Forest. Like when he visited his good old friend Jenny in the present time and found out that they had had a kid. They moved back to Alabama to form a family. Vietnam was a setting that sort of opened the eyes of Forest on how the world really is. He lost his best friend Bubba in the war. The setting gave off a negative feel, like something bad could happen at anytime. I think that even if the setting was changed the characters would act the same. Forest was the type of person that when he was told to

Big Fish Questions:
This story had many flashbacks, but Forset Gump told them as stories. The story basically consisted of nothing but flashbacks of his very incredible life. Such as the war in Vietnam and going to the white house a bunch of times. These flashbacks revealed that Forest was a determined individual, that nothing would stop him in any way in whatever they went.

There was a lot of suspense in the scene where Forest and his platoon were going into Vietnam and they were told to get down. Although nothing happened it built up a great amount of suspense on the film.

I think this film follows a typical "story telling" kind of pattern. It told Forest Gump's life in different events of his life which he told to people on the bench in a park in Alabama.

Disturbia/Rear Window Questions:
The film is about a guy named Forest Gump who had a very good life. He lived through many different experiences. He starts out by telling a woman on the bench about how he developed as a young kid. From there on he tells many different people about the events that went on in his life.

In the film a conflict developed for Forest with Jenny. He was in love with her but he never felt as though he had her love. He wanted nothing more then for her to feel the same way towards him that he feels towards her.

Exposition: The main characters name is Andrew Becket. Andrew Becket is part of a lawyer agency and is well know for his job. Although he has a small secret hes kept from everyone, hes gay. This will lead to a big mess in the film.

Rising Action: We learned that the main conflict is that Andrew Becket ends up being fired one day from work. It was apparently for losing a very important document, but most know that it was because that his bosses had learned that Andrew Becket was gay and caught aids. This leads Andrew Becket to find someone to represent him in court against his law firm. He had tried several offices but no one was willing to help him. He visited a man named Joe Miller who like the rest said no to his plea for help. He later changed his mind and came together with Andrew Becket to take on the law firm.

Climax: As time went on Andrew Becket got worse from his deadly disease. The origins of his disease were discovered. He apparently had caught the aids from a man in a gay movie theater.  One time in court Joe Miller and Andrew Becket questioned one of the law firms bosses when suddenly Andrew fell over heaving and shaking. He was taken to the hospital where he looked as worse as anyone had ever seen him.

Falling Action/Resolution: With Andrew in the hospital Joe Miller took on the law firm by himself. He ended winning the case against the law firm which got Andrew Becket $4 million dollars. Which was not for Andrew anymore since he had passed away shortly after knowing that justice had been served.

Charlie/Willy and the Chocolate Factory (Major Characters): Charlie Bucket and Williy Wonka are the main characters.
Charlie/Willy and the Chocolate Factory (Minor Characters): Grandpa Joe, Violet Beauregarde, Mike Teavee, Veruca Salt, Augustus Gloop, Oompa Loompa, Mr. Bucket, Mrs. Bucket, Ms. Beauregarde, Mr. Teavee, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Gloop.

Character Traits: In this film you learn many things about every charcter. Charlie Bucket is your typical kid, hes not strong, really skinny, and doesnt have much money. He does have a good head on his shoulders though, which leads him to winning the factory at the end of the film. Willy Wonka is the big candy maker that everyone knows and those that dont know him would die to meet him. In both films he had kind of a weird funny feel to his character. He is very cocky/proud of the things he does. Along with Charlie 4 other kids joined him in the factory tour. Violet Beauregarde is a girl that is very proud of her gum chewing, she is snobby and rubs her success in your face. Mike Teavee is a boy that thought he knew it all and was smarter then everyone around him. Veruca Salt was the worst of all in my opinion, she was spoiled her whole life, to get something all she would need to do is ask her dad. When her dad would say no she would flip till she had it. Augustus Gloop is someone you could tell loved candy. He was a fat kid that would eat anything in sight. Which turned out to be his way out of the factory.

Other Charcters Comment: By the way the kids and parents talk to eachother, you learn many things about them. Mike Teavee and Veruca Salt were obviously didnt listen ever to anything their parents. Charlie respected everyone that was there in both fims whivh was what Willy Wonka was looking for. Violet was just so cocky and rubbed everything about her achievements in your face.

This film provided the viewers with a couple streotype like charcters. Such as Mufasa even though he is an archetypal character, he can alo be considered a stereotype because the lion has always been known as the king of the jungle or pride. He also plays the role of the father teaching his son about his kingdom, kind of "showing him the ropes". Zazu plays the role of the kings primary informant, when something happens Zazu knows and delivers the news to his king. Nala is also a stereotype the "bestfriend when we were young, then girlfriend/wife in the future". Nala can also be contsidered Simbas side kick. Then you have Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed, Scars three evil hyena sidekicks. They are also the evil jokesters. Timon and Pumba are the good side kicks to Simba. When he ran away they took him in and showed him how to enjoy life. They were also Simbas right hand men when he went to take Pride Rock. These arent your usual stereotypes but at times they had major affects on the story line of t

There were many archetypal charatcers in the film. Mufasa is the first to jump at you as one of the archetypal characters seeing as how is the great king/leader of all the animals in his pride lands. From the moment you see Scar you realize that he is the archetypal villian of the film. His anger at the fact that Simba would take the throne when Mufasa would die leads you to believe that he would do anything to be the king, even betray his own family. He kills his brother and says that Simba is dead and lets hyenas take over pride rock, it doesnt get anymore villian than that. You also have Simba as one of the main archetypal characters. He is the young future king son of Mufasa. Even though he also turns into the "unwilling hero" at the end of the film until old Rafiki changed his mind. Which brings up Rafiki as another archtypal character. He was the mentor of both Mufasa and Simba. He was a wise monkey that knew how to convince Simba that going back and facing his past was what he had to do. Sarabi was also an archetypal character, she played the role of the "supportive mother" to both her son Simba and her king Mufasa.

Protagonist: Spider-Man is the main protagonist character in the film. Seeing as how he is the masked hero and savior of New York.

Antagonist: With every super hero there is a villian that creates a conflict between the two. In the movie Dr. Kurt Conners is not neccesaraly an evil man. He is just a man that is looking to make the world better by finding ways to fix human body problems. Since he was pushed before testing time and all that he used his own reptile serum on himself to see if his missing arm would grow. Long story short it all went bad. He turned into a power craving giant lizard, who destroyed everything in his way to make humanity equal.

What is the conflict between the protagonist and antagonist?
The antagonist (Dr. Kurt Conners) turned himself into a giant lizard that wants to destroy everything in his way. The protagonist is Spider-Man (Peter Parker) is the protector of the city so this causes a problem between the two. Dr. Kurt Conners planned to climb the OSCORB Tower and send a rocket into the air that released a serum that changed everyone in the perimeter to a giant lizard like him. In his eyes this was a way to make the human race superior to everything. Along with the help of Captain Stacey of the NYPD, Spider-Man set out to stop the man that was ready to destroy his city. With split seconds left Spider-Man changed the serum to an antidote that made the lizard beings turn back into normal humans. Which stopped the evil plans of Kurt Conners.

Dynamic: Peter Parker is a perfect example for a dynamic character. In the movie he starts out as your typical high school nerd. He's scrawny, loves science, and gets picked on by the school jock Flash. His life was about to change completly after sneaking in the OSCORB Tower. After wondering off into a room filled with genetically enhanced spiders, he is bit by one in the back of the neck. He then wakes up in a subway train and realizes that he gained some abilities he never had before. Peter uses these abilities to go against crime even though most people looked at his actions as one of a criminal. He turned into the hero Spider-Man. Peter went from the nerd in high school to the awsome New York masked hero that everyone turned to when things went bad. Best of all Peter realized that with great power comes great responsibility. (Other Dynamic Charcters: Flash, Dr. Kurt Conners, and Captain Stacey)

Static: Aunt Mae was one of the static characters in the movie. When Peters parents left him to his Aunt and Uncle they took care of him since his parents wouldnt be there. She is always caring for her family, especially Peter. When Uncle Ben was killed, even though her heart was broken, she still smiled for Peter and cared for him. (Other Static Charcter: Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacey)

What events or circumstances in the story cause the dynamic character to change?
I feel as though the death of his Uncle Ben made Peter realize that he wanted to use his new talents for good and become a hero. Seeing as how his Uncle Ben was shot by a criminal Spider-Man (Peter) knew that he had to stand for the safety of the citizens of New York. He decided that being the normal nerdy kid in high school had to change into New York's newest hero.
